    “WoW I love lifting weights, but I have pulled more muscles by being too aggressive , I am learning to moderate my ambition, and This Supermodel DVD is just what I needed and was hoping for from Ballet Beautiful. tough sequences with light weights , I love it and look forward to using these workouts every week. I am going to challenge myself to just using The DVD’s from Ballet Beautiful for this yr, and just enjoy the music and calm Mary Helen provides in her workouts. I also love the backdrop of flowers etc they use to dress up the studio.”

    Pleasant and challenging workout

    “I enjoy a variety of workouts so I thought this would be worth a try. Such a nice change of pace from the cardio and dance style and even the toning videos. While you’re working hard and doing effective movements it’s somewhat peaceful, and dare I say relaxing? No chance of falling asleep, you really are working. But the background music and instructor’s voice are pleasant. She isn’t perky, nor is she a drill sergeant. She’s just a graceful woman who knows how to lead you through the paces. She doesn’t spend a lot of time on instruction and form, so you’ll want to check our her youtube channel first to learn more before you dive in. This is a nice approach since it doesn’t clutter up the routine with excessive chatter, but it would have been nice to include some of her instructions as an option on this videos or perhaps even include a “beginner” instructional DVD. I would deduct half a star if possible, but this is better than 4 stars, so I’ll stick with 5. I would buy these again if they needed replacement.”

    These are great but fast paced for beginners

    “I love this set of workout dvds. I will agree that without precious knowledge of dance moves and skills, you could easily get lost as she goes quickly. But pausing to get the hang of a move the first couple times through should be enough to get it down. These are great and effective! One of mine has a glitch with the play all feature. It just keeps replaying the same thing over and over. I just have to go back to the menu and select the next area each time.”

    Very efficient workouts but a little advanced for true beginners

    “I really like Helen Bowers as a instructor and her workouts are a good length and you really get a complete workout. I just find that her workouts are for people more familiar with ballet, i have done barre but this may be for more advanced folks as the cueing is lacking. I do like that i feel challenged. Some of the workouts i own became too easy so like that this is a bit harder. I really like the fact that she lets you stretch between repetitions too, it makes it a lot less grueling.”

    Buy this DVD! (Supermodel Series)

    “I have purchased her older DVDs (such as Cardio Burn) and they were nice. However, I’ve been using the Supermodel Series and love it. If you “play all” you get an hour long workout. Her moves are not difficult to learn, it has pleasant classical music playing in the background, and the exercise moves burn in a good way 🙂 I am seeing results!! You will need a “1/2 ball dome” balance trainer (i.e. bosu ball) for one exercise series and an optional pair of 1lb ankle weights for an extra burn. I really, really love this DVD.”

    shes gonna kick your butt

    “but its gonna make you feel good!! I have been doing this set for almost a month now and I still feel like I’m dying but I feel so amazing and she breaks it down well so that you know how to hold your body. I do think the cardios are too fast to catch the move but I am starting to get it! You won’t be disappointed I promise but you will be wondering wtf is wrong with you ????”

    “I have all her DVD’s and I think the classical DVD is the best. This one is I think is better than other DVD as this one works on thighs more..It is very hard to make muscle on thighs, but I think this DVD targets mainly thighs and get the job done. highly recommended”

    “Love, love, love!! This is awesome! I love the workouts and Mary Helen is sweet and professional. She pushes you but isn’t at all a drill Sargent. She is encouraging and reminds you often of form and stretching and necessary water. Challenging and yet such a beautiful and elegant way to get in shape!! It’ll kick your ballet beautiful muscles for sure! My favorite way to work out by far!!”

    “This workout is intense when you’re doing the legs & glutes segments. She rarely gives you a break, & you do A LOT of repetitive moves. It works, if you can get through it. Not for beginners!!”

    Great Fitness DVD

    “The fitness program, divided into five areas, goes for almost exactly one hour and offers really effective exercises. You need a 0.5kg leg weights, a mat and a half-ball for the exercises. I bought some more ballet shoes. Cardio training in the form of ballet exercises is great, the dancing movements are very elegant and at the same time exhausting. Mary Bowers performs well through the exercises accompanied by classical background music. It’s just a little annoying that she doesn’t count right, two two five three and more messed up and sometimes the camera work is not quite as good, but that’s not so bad. I noticed posture improvements and an improvement in mobility after a few workouts. This kind of fitness is just awesome and I like so much that I ordered eight more Ballet Beautiful DVDs.”
